if you get bestek ignition when you order it tell them the modifications such as what camshaft you have and if you have skimmed and ported head and they will preset dizzy to match your engine

Its expensive..woud it not be better go for megajolt then anyway?

if you are intending to upgrade engine then go for megajolt if not then stick with dizzy setup

ive got a accuspark dizzy with van advance blocked... vac pipe to servo and water pipe in the middle of center carbs.

 

no need for anything more.

 

youll need a pressure regulator if you don't have a bike pump

I thought bestek had gone out of buisness.? When my bestek setup broke down ,I went to H&H ignitions who were spot on with help and advice.

Ok..a bit mixed messages so i coud leave distributtor pipe just open but it woud be better for bestek?

Is it ok if i have just socks with no trumpets or shoud i get trumpets too?

Yes leave unconnected, a special distributor could be good but you can just leave it, or you can try modding yours as per Dave Andrews site. http://www.dvandrews.co.uk/ Trumpets would be nice but you will probably need a hole in the bonnet to accomodate the length.
