Will My Side Mirrors Pass Iva

My poor memory then, was sure at Florin's test the tester said " screen mirror didn't meet field of view requirements ; but that it didn't matter as wing mirrors did ".

Must check IVA manual --- when time permits & slumber eludes me.

Had a look at section 08 in the IVA manual -- centre (windscreen) & drivers wing mirror are the " must have" items but if field of view insufficient with centre mirror the passenger side wing mirror can be used instead. All mirrors must try to comply with the red,green/blue poles/triangles as necessary.

Mirror size is best measured with a piece of card -- 40 x 80mm -- if it fits on glass with small amount of mirror showing all round, its big enough.

At this point it was 1am so went to bed -- eyes being already closed.

another point i seem to remember was that mirrors should be foldable ie. if you hit a pedestrian they should fold in. But i believe this only applies if the wingmirror projects futher than the wheel line (which yours don't). Just incase you decided to put them on 2 foot poles sticking out each side for a better view
