Well got three clicks on handbrake but wheels still turn looks like the self adjuster ain't working

the handbrake isn't very good until the pads bed in, don't panic yet

Been for a spin round the block and it conked out dodgy connection on fuel pump so had take fuel pump apart to solder a new wire on so will try another run out tonight

Have you tried mechanical adjusting them?

Not good practise but gets you on the road.

If they were wound in to much to get them off the original hubs, they lock up very easily.

I did wind them right in looks like i will have to take calipers back off and have a fiddle

But have been out for a success full drive tonight nothing fell off or snapped gave it the beans a couple of times all seemed to work ok so

Must be a joy to drive with that engine.

Just check with someone else pulling on the handle that you are getting enough travel on the calliper levers before you go to deep in the callipers first mate.

Seems strange to me that you are only getting three clicks because if the adjustment is right off, you should get a full free travel on the lever.

I will be doing the same job on mine soon.

Just have to make sure the 4x4 hubs and shafts fit first.
