Radiator Hoses

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a good match for top and bottom radiator hoses and have had a fruitless trudge around Telford's finest scrappy.

I have a 2B/04 with 2.0L Pinto and the 'Coolman' radiator which is apparently a development of the Cortina rad. (Mark IV or V - not sure) Is anyone using the same set up and can recommend the appropriate hoses? I would rather not use the universal bendies if poss. The radiator outlets are 30mm.

Are Cortina hoses the answer, and if so are they still available?

I have the same setup. My rad is not in the nose but behind the front crossmember (sliding pillar) I had to use a universal flexi on the bottom & cut down a much bigger pipe to get the bit I wanted for the top... Go to a good accesory shop & get them to drag their box out & let you rummage!! Worked for me.... :)

I USED THE SIERRA HOSES. THE TOP ONE I CUT DOWN AND THE

BOTTOM ONE I CUT INTO TWO AND FIT A 90 DEGREE METAL

BEND IN THE BOTTOM. I HAD A PIECE OF STEEL TUBE BENT, BUT AN AFTER

THOUGHT A 32 MM END FEED COPPER BEND FROM THE

PLUMBERS MERCHANTS WILL DO AS WELL, COST ABOUT £1.50

HOPE THIS HELPS
