If you have the original Robin Hood wishbones the geometry wasn't exactly perfect to say the least.  There was no adjustment for caster angle so, depending on how it all went together, it may not self centre very well at all.   Check your toe-in which is adjustable - a small amount of toe-in might help and also make sure nothing is tight or binding on the steering.

There are ways to significantly improve the front suspension, including an upgrade kit from Kit Spares, but none are a "quick fix".

Hi Steve, Have checked and found I have the upgrade already fitted, any idea what the caster angle should be ?
