Hi all, 

I can’t seem to find anything related to this issue so any help would be really appreciated. 
The bolt pictured below has come loose and the mud guard is rattling and moving around a fair bit. 
Any idea how I remove this type of screw/bolt when it has a has a rounded head and is loose? As of course it will just spin. Would it be best to grind it off and put a new bolt in? 

Personally I would take an angry grinder to the underside, cut the the bolt & the nut off, I'd probably come at it so that you're cutting the bolt in half from the top if that makes sense to keep the blade away from the bracket, you should then be able to peel the remainder of the nut off. Take it steady & don't get the bolt too hot otherwise it may make a mess of your gelcoat.

@phaetonreally appreciate the advice. Just to clarify, is the gel coat the light grey colour on the underside of the wheel arch? 

Gel coat is the yellow on the outside of your mudguard. Light grey is just paint on the inside.

Its a coach bolt, id cut a slot in the head and use a flat screwdriver, then replace it.

Not saying don't do it this way, but be very careful if you do, do not get the head too hot or as before it will burn into the gel coat.

How about using a nut splitter, no heat applied

I wouldnt use an angry grinder, I used a Dremel to do mine.
