Bent Spanner

Any one got for sale the bent spanner for removing the viscous fan from the pully.

I didn't want to bend a perfectly good one in the vice unless i realy have to, and it's the sort of tool i could do with in my special tools box.

Do what they do in most garages use a long punch and give it a sharp tap right on the end of one of the flats. Once it has moved it will easily spin off.

I cut one out of a bit of scrap 1mm sheet steel, folded double. The nut is not usualy very tight. Does it have a reverse thread? Vaguely remember it does cos the fan has to naturaly screw in and it turns clockwise viewed from in front...........er, just checked. LEFT HAND THREAD. No wonder it's a bit of a b to get off!
