What does it sound like? Take your oil filler cap off and smell it
  2. Cheap yes but definitely not a quick or easy solution unless your tank is deep and then you need to find a way to secure it to the tank
  3. Deans was much louder than mine his made your ears hurt and he was fine
  4. I believe we can get 5% off for a 5 person bulk booking and 10% for a 10 person booking so if you can let me know if you can make it I can organise collecting payment though the club and do a bulk booking
  5. I posted a track day up a couple of weeks ago ran though javelin that we can get discounts on with a bulk booking if your interested?
  6. Ah didn't twig it was kimbolton. Oh well this is another option for people that don't want to go, this won't be the only day this will be organised so hopefully will get a couple more up this year
  7. I'm sure Keith would love some help to set up on the Saturday as in a tight time scale already
  8. While we work on getting a track day organised by the club i thought we could get at least one pre-booked track day in. I think i have found a good option for everyone. TRACK: Blyton park (Eastern circuit) DATE: 8/7/18 (SUNDAY) PRICE: £139 For people that have been to Blyton before, this is not the standard track layout and looks to be more suited to 7 type cars with more turns. The trackday can be booked through 'Javelin trackdays' through this link http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/July/Blyton-Park-8th-July-2018 The format for the day is as follows Layout : Eastern Circuit (1.4 miles) Format : Open Pit Lane Noise : 95dba Drive By Overtaking : Right Hand Side on Straights Only If you are interested in this event please let me know as if there is enough of us i may be able to get us a discount for the club, or you can just book yourself on with the link above and post on here so we know who is going. Hope this is a good start for people towards new events for the club!!
  9. Yes please dave, how do we get them?
  10. Funnily enough the prices don't differ by much for week day to weekend but must weekends are already booked for the year. I can get the club 5% for 5 cars and 10% for 10 cars off pre organised track days at Rockingham that's always an option
  11. Ok I have revived some more prices from Silverstone at a £28,500 + vat and Rockingham at £7500 + vat which I think we can all agree is abit out of our price range this year.
  12. Castle combe was 12 on track at a time. Not sure about Anglesey as rich is contacting them to find more info out
  13. Had a couple of replays one from Mallory park wanting £18,000 plus wages for the staff needed for a one day event so that won't be happening lol. Had another from castle combe at a more reasonable price of £5400 which includes all staff for the day and full use of the one of the main building for sign on and track viewing for the day. But at the minute Anglesey is looking promising at a much lower price, only downfall is it's location, we will probably have to make a 2 day event of it but that's not always a bad thing. The price for a event at Anglesey will be much cheaper for everyone which is a bonus. Still waiting on replies from a few other tracks so will update you all as more information comes in
  14. Thanks rich. I want to do this as member and non member to try and get more people into the club as well as the more people the cheaper it would be for everyone and higher chance of making a profit for the club Doing it as £30 cheeper for members I have a plan to get people to join the club to save themselves money in turn helping fund the club for further events
  15. haha well that depends on numbers, I'm sending messages out now on my lunch break so hopefully get a idea on price soon. After I did the photo shoot last year I though id have a go at s bigger event. after all the negative stuff going on at the min we need some positive vibes going on
  16. This is why I wanted so feedback on tracks people would like to see so I can contact them first. I'll send some messages out tonight
  17. Ok from what has been said over the past few days and things I have been thinking about since I joined the club on making it better I have a suggestion that I would like input on. I would like to organise a track day for the club which has a discounted price for members and also include non members at a higher price to fill the remaining spaces. What I would like to know is, what track would people like to see? So I can contact them to try and organise a deal for the club My idea is in theory anyway is to get a price for say a 30 car track day and have it so the club members get first dibs at a £30 discount to the non members. This would encourage non members to join the club which would save them £10 on there day and make more money and gain members for the club. Which will also inturn gain the club more stage presence due to people talking about the day on social media by sharing there experience and photos. How does everyone feel about this?
  18. It shouldn't as it's at the bottom of the pipe just before the rad but could be the issue, never knew it would register seem as 0
  19. Yes got them both in a kit together. It works perfectly up to 100oc
  20. I have just fitted a new water temperature gauge and sender but when the car gets up to 100oc the gauge just drops off like it's being switched off. Does anyone have an idea why this would happen? Thanks
