Don't snap your pick up lol if you can lower the front of the sump you can get to the 2 torque bolts off the pick up and just bolt it back on when the sump is off

Get a video it will be easier to see what's happening. If it doesn't have any baffles or windage plate it can't be caught on the pick up and if it isn't getting caught on the dirt shield for the gearbox it must just be stuck on with the sealant/gasket just pry it off don't be shy they can take quite a bit of force to dislodge sometimes
  4. Well no oil pressure on a run today will try and fix for the weekend but don't know if any more damage has been done. Will keep you posted

    Sump Removal

If the sump is hanging off at the front but hung up at the back then it's off. You will find the oil pick up will stop you being able to remove the sump easily so you may need to unbolt the pickup

    Sump Removal

Just stick a thin flat head screwdriver at the front corner (crank pulley side) tap in with hammer and then use a blade to start cutting the sealant and work your way around. Do it from under the car to you can see what your doing

    Sump Removal

Ye they are a right bas74rd to get off I used a flat head screwdriver and and extendable crafts knife to cut though the sealant. Just make sure you clean the sump out before putting it back on

  10. Email back from javelin, they aren't offering any further discount on the price as supposedly this is already a cheap price compared to others. Abit frustrated with this but looks like it's full price on this one
  11. I'll email them again tomorrow to try and sort it out, the last person I spoke to were not very helpful to say the least. If not we will just have to book separately and I'll try and get in touch with someone higher in the chain for future events
  12. Ok final call!! so far we have Dan + 1 Keith Chris Kevin Me I'm getting final information from them so we can collect payments asap
  13. Profile pictures are normally put up using a image hosting service which will provide you with the option for a forum image. As for signature I'm not sure but will be under your account somewhere

If you have fuel in your oil your engine bearings could be destroyed thus throwing metal thought-out your engine = very bad If bearings are damaged you could be getting knocks which is what would cause the noise as there is space between the bearing and what ever it was against (in my case big end bearings so con rods were rattling on the crank- not good)
  17. Not being negative just saying what work is required, I know if I was to do it again I would not use the land rover one. A quick and easy fix for fuel surge or at least worth a punt is that foam you can get to go in your tank which helps stop the fuel sloshing around
