  3. hi guys ,I,m running a sierra rad at the moment but looking to up grade ,to a more efficient one ,the 3a seems to be a little short on space has anyone any recommendations,Ebay has plenty of choice at a resonable price some including an electric fan are they any good ?

  4. The standard mechanical pump was Not fitted when I got the car ,the electric one is an eBay cheapy,it works fine but there is no adjustment so I have ordered a pressure regulator ,more to come,as soon as I fit it ,on a similar vein in my younger years I raced banger cars and always used electric fuel pump,s and they were fitted with a pressure switch that cut the power once pressure was achieved restarting again as required ,where are they now???????

  5. the weber is new fitted by the last owner ,so i assume it is in good condition, the car has only done 2000mls since ,but work means i only get weekends to work on it .I will check today on the pump and then decide my next move ,and thanks a million guys for the advice

  6. hi guy,s ,help needed ,do i need to have a pressure switch fitted to the fuel pump ,it runs constantly even on tickover, also would this cause the plugs to soot up ,they come out black even after a good blast ,I,ve adjusted the mixture screw but it seems to make little difference ,there is a ramair air filter fitted and the choke is fully open ,the timing is spot on ,new distributer ,plugs and leads I,m at a loss.and in case you haven,t noticed it,s almost summer ,I need to get back on the road but be a little quicker this year

  7. I have bought a newman high torque cam to install over the winter my question is fit the standard head or an injection one I,m running a weber carb ,and both heads have been polished up and the valves reseated I,m not too bothered about top end speed but the grunt to power out of corners and maybe drift it a little ,yhanx in advance gent,s

  8. I had to go a little close to the kerb to avoid a caravan and found a pothole which the rear shocker couldn't deal with ,in fact it caused it to snap frightened me half to death ,has anyone got a pair for sale asap , I'm going to try and get the council to pay for the repairs ,but I need my kit fix

  9. My little toy died on the day before I took her off the road for winter, I had a short blast and it wouldn't restart,so recharge the battery and start looking for an earth fault everything seems ok but the battery is only reading 10.2 volts could this be the problem?

  10. Now I am definitely confused. The injector head has a definite curve in the inlet passage surely those will restrict the flow , I have taken some photos of the 2 as a comparison ,now to try and upload them, bare with me on this as me and computers have a love hate relationship. the file is too large
