As all the switch wiring is within the Ford multifunction switch there will be no way to isolate the indicator / hazard circuits. As you say you could put an off switch in though. Personally the only time my hazards get used is at MOT time.

Just a thought - if there are 2 dash indicator lights you will probably need a couple of diodes as well ( or get 2 buzzers one for left one for right ) Hmm might do this to mine....

one of these should do Maplin just wire in parallel with the dash light / lights a lounder one

To get off the company car waste of money I went for an ex motability VW polo estate 1.9tdi to start for £4000 - ran it for 4 years getting £400 a month plus milage from my company - never saw a garage - oil changes , some brake pads and 1 timing belt. Managed to ring fence some of the cash and gave the Polo to Mrs D and got a 2 year old Golf 2.0 TDI with DSG for company use for less than half the new price. If you put up with a 'utility' vehicle for a couple of years it builds up enough to buy the next one cash. Get a deisel and don't get it serviced just change the oil regularly.

Bit the bullet and removed the tunnel top. Both ends took a fair bit of grease before it started oozing out but otherwise looked sound as a pound - only took 1.5 hours from start to finish and I'm reassured now that it has been done - how often should they be greased? Still think I will put some sort of reinforcement is the tunnel over the winter though.... Thanks folks Neil
