  6. All working that I can see on my iPhone, chromebook and Android tablet. Liking the new look and feel of the site. Well done to everyone involved.
  7. Thanks to everyone who turned up. 8 kits and Jezs brothers 350z. Even Andi popped over to join in. Bit of a pain at the motor museum as they gave away our parking to tr6s as they bought they were robin hoods! But the Royal British Legion sorted us out and we even got an invite to a flower show in the Cotswolds next summer with free cake on offer. Caffeine and machine is an impressive place and a great place to visit. Pretty sure I will be going back soon. The Pinto is going to get pulled in the next few weeks so the next run out will be with the Duratec. Hopefully early next year if all goes well! Great end to my season and the sun was shining (most of the day)! Cheers Steve
  8. Excellent. See you in the morning. Any of the other Leicester guys coming?
  9. Not sure what those bits are as yet, still need to buy the items. Once I have the bits I will let you know, catch up on Sunday or Wednesday for some theory. Cheers Steve
  10. Yes, but it will all be fitted into a different pedal box with a pedal ratio of around 5:1. I am not sure what the GBS ratio is?
  11. Awesome, thanks Dan My current set up is standard sierra calipers and master cylinder. Let me know what figures you need and i will try and get all the info in preparation. Cheers Steve
  12. Hi all. As a part of my engine swap i have decided to go down the route of floor mounted pedals rather than the standard GBS pedal box. Never liked the set up or the way all the pedals are bolted together and when you move the brake or clutch pedal it moved the other. I am swapping from standard sierra front calipers and rear drums to mondeo mk3 front calipers and leaving the rear on drums. I currently have a cable clutch but will have to swap to hydraulic clutch. Now the pedal box i am looking to buy has an adjustable brake pedal ratio of 4.9-5.24:1 ratio, but i am unsure of the clutch ratio at present. Now the big question is, how do i calculate the clutch and brake master cylinder sizes? The clutch slave i am planning on using is the standard mx5 mk3 which i believe is 0.625" (yet to confirm 100%). I have googled this and it has blown me away!! Has anyone got a simple calculation to work out the sizes i will need. Thanks in advance. Steve
  13. Bit of an update on the run out. I have been in contact with the Cotswold Motor Museum and secured free parking. This worked out well last year as the sun was shining and Bourton was rammed and we definitely drew a crowd. David. Post code for the Museum is GL54 2BY.
  14. Hi David If we leave the Malt Shovel at 10am(ish), I would imagine getting to Bourton for around 11:30am(ish). Will try to head for parking close to the Cotswold Motor museum, I will have my mobile on me, so drop us a message and we can catch up. Hope to see you Sunday. Steve
  15. Confirmed is Trev, me, Gaz and you so far. Is anyone else planning on coming along?
  16. Hi all Weather is forecast a lovely 10' and `times of sun' for Sunday (according to AccuWeather), but dont forget the clocks go back this Sunday, so either an extra hour of eating breakfast or an extra hour in bed. See you Sunday. Steve
  17. Update.... We are going to drop in here at the end of our run out on Sunday (See Midlands Run out post) now as I have a prior engagement on the Saturday. Looks like a great place from the website.
  18. Had a nice little run to the meet yesterday. Cool to start, but the sun came out and it was a lovely warm day. Little video here of just some of the cars - https://www.facebook.com/GreatEscapeCars/videos/10156802424962710/?notif_t=admin_plan_mall_activity&notif_id=1540143325075972 Met a guy and young son with a very shiny stainless and green Robin Hood, (sorry terrible with names). Lovely car with a very clever windscreen. Was also a lime green 2b running on 18 inch wheels, but didn't manage to find out who the owner was. Look forward to the next one. Cheers Steve
  19. See people there for Breakfast at 9am.
  20. I renewed with a plan and got free legal cover which I paid for last year. Mine is 3k mileage and is £112. Mine is a 2.0

  22. Seen this place opening on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/events/188752982016954/) No idea if it is any good, but might be a good place for meet ups or just a destination to drive too? I will probably pop down on Saturday, so will report back. This is what they say about themselves: A Coffee house, licensed bar and restaurant, boutique b&b, and living art gallery, C&M is designed very simply as a place to go, a destination in and of itself if you appreciate moving things. With fabulous food, mind-blowing coffee and high-end rooms, C&M offers everything you expect from a modern member’s club - except you don’t have to be a member to enjoy it. Come and enjoy our opening... see you there!
