  1. went out yesterday in the Zero & after 200 miles of mixed roads into Scotland & around Northumberland I am pleased to report that the gas pedal still works fine :) :) traffic was quite light & even the rain stayed away. what have you lot been upto?? cheers Paul

  5. gonna be fitting shortened sump to my DOHC twinky in the Zero in next couple of days (with engine in situ) I will also be cutting off the bottom of the mt75 box so its at the same level. while the sump is off is there anything I can check? any other tips? Cheers Paul

  9. this is mine, hopefully you can see were i have cut the metal back (its in the car so cant measure it) I also moved the selector balljoint housing back a wee bit and lengthened the selector arm. Paul

    good luck with both ya tests if they find any dodgey bits, ask the best way to sort it. they should be happy to offer advice

  20. Hi Luke before my IVA retest I went down and spoke to the kitcar person (Ann) at the DVLA office at regents centre newcastle. I got all the forms needed for the bui & registration & asked loads of questions. you will need to book a bui, perhaps the same day as your retest

  22. steve its from 9am - 5pm thanks guys for all the tips & info, Iam really looking forward to it. as for fuel I get around 15 mpg with spirited road driving, but Ive been told fuel is available about a mile from the track Cheers Paul

I am doin a trackday in the Zero this friday at Teeside Autodrome (still places if anyone fancies it) never done anything on track before. format is 8x 30mins on track 30mins off, so approx 4 hours track time I have changed oil, checked water, brakes etc and I have another set of wheels for the drive home. what else can I do to get the best from the day?     my zero wasnt on MID after 3 months, until I spoke to FPickles who sorted it within week
