That is quite cheap for the going rate. You should have seen the quotes I had. As to the secnd question "is it worth it" I really dont know.

I have been seeing this gearbox mount questions for some time, i dont know if the design of the mounting bracket has changed on new zeros but mine was quite a firm fit with the sierra gearbox mount. so there was no chance of getting it wrong. Any ways to answer the question I dont think there is any extension needed.

Hi Graham, Thats what i thought. but the line has an inline - fuse on it already. So is it ok to add the isolator in series to the line as well.

Another electric question. I need to fit a battery isolator on the premier loom. Just wanted to know what people did. On the premier loom there is the thick red wire in the engine spur. I have already added an inline fuse on that already as this is going to the battery positive terminal. Can i put the battery isolator on that line as well Any information on wiring the head light and rear lights really appreciated. I do not have any information as to the colours on the wire on the lights. please please. Need to go into the garage tomorrow. Am over my tantrum now. regards Femi

lol, welcome on board mate, To be honest getting the kit is just the beginning. You would be looking at a lot of other items to get it finished it. so realistically I would say for a very good build, you would be looking at between £7000 -£10000 with the zetec route. Pinto would be obviously cheaper. I have spent about £5500 so far and still do not have the exhaust system, windscreen, rear diffuser, wiper motor and finally IVA and registration. This is my first anything mechanical and I have been ok. Alot of reading and asking questions. So it looks like your ahead already so would be more than ok. To be honest most of the issues arise around conforming to the IVA requirements. HTH

Am after the connections labelling for the lighting kit for the zero. There is a green, red and black wire for the head light, did not look at the wiring on the rear. Please any info

Yes dave I kept turning the ignition key but the hub was not going down enough to engage the hex shaft

its the sierra column. Its a mountney wheel boss if thats any help

I tried to fit my steering boss today and the boss could not get on the shaft. There is a steering lock cam thingy. Do I need to do away with this?
