I am not close. But mother inlaw works in a chemist and has access to some similar boxes with a seperate lid. Can ask if you are interested.

Don't use ebay, use your local fasteners.I use bapp never paid more than £3 for a selection of bolts

Hmm, they're only 30 minutes from me. Problem is, the manifold is only plastic (air inlet on a Zetec) and I've contacted a similar firm who weren't interested (well, they never replied to my email). I'll give them a go...
Would prefer to do it myself but my history with straight filing is not good and I don't want to get this wrong, otherwise I'll have air gaps round the Plenum. I've got some instant gasket - will that do as well for hiding any imperfections?
Okay, get the rasping tool on it. Leave a few mm proud. Hold in a vice, get a rough sanding paper, wrap around a 2 x 2 wood and sand down slowly. swap for finer paper as you progress. Job done in 30mins.
-
Honestly, I will sand that down myself. Take it really steady and finish off with a hand file. Polish up the surface and get a 1mm gasket to go in between to take up small imperfections. £40 is quite a lot

Why not a type 9 will the Xe bellhousing? I know alot of people say they are not up to the Job but it will be fine for the use it gets anyways. Saves faffing around with the mt75.
If you had raised this 2 months ago. I would have taken a pattern from my Xe bellhousing and scanned it in for you to trace out. but it has all been assembled and sat in the car.

Not bad value, if you consider the cost on petrol from notts and also get a passenger to halve the cost. Unless you crash it

Sorted now. Ordered from the states, delivered for below £40. happy days

Thanks Peter

Are you definitely having one

Evening all, I am searching for a pull type slave cylinder for my sebring project. I am after an oem one as opposed to the wildwood ones. Any suggestions
-
Until the car rolls off. Cant see anything stopping this. Had look again, I can see the steps in the surface, I still don't think its high enough to stop it rolling

This is back up for sale. Please let me know if you are interested

If you look at Boxsters do a lot of reading as some of the older models are huge money pits, not easy engine access either. That Porky badge means bills can be high...
Go for an MX5 like many others have, production car with tinker-a-bility (if that's a word) add forced induction and plenty of other things 220bhp+ nice and cheap
Rob, there is simply no way I am getting an mx-5. They do nothing for me. I find the styling basic and the performance lacking. Apologies to owners of 5's.
its going to be the g40

Boxster with an hardtop is not bad. The Alfa's are not bad, but if you get a bad one, its going to be expensive
