  4. Hi Jon did the pics I sent you help. I would think about some mud flaps as it is easy for stones to fly up from the rear of the front wheels and hit you when driving as you have them quite a way forward this will happen even more so. Looking good when is the sva. A lot of new pluming in the garage !!! Stephen

  8. If Andy did get one of these new MNR canoes. Then It would be Batman and Robin not the Milky bar kid. In his defiance he was at the arranged meeting place on time although I was in the hood, and Andy in the tin top He missed out on a great drive in the sun shine, which for Stafford is unheard of. A great day out made even better by the weather. Nice to see the car at long last Bill and Joe Stephen. I am thinking of one of these?

  10. I have a strap from a dog collar from pound land fixed to the side screen with a female part of the press studs for the hood fitting and secure the strap around the side chassis tubes and clips together with the quick release buckle. You could use some shock cord and P clips with some U shaped catches fixed to the inside of the car side panels as per Dax rush. good luck stephen

  15. Thanks for the info I do think that it is the blower as the switch seems fine. I will have to price a new one first before attempting to remove the old one it looks quite big so I think dash out I am a bit worried about the air bag as the steering has to come out as well. May end up in the garage. Thanks stephen

    Heater

Hi i have a problem with the heater blower on my wifes Citroen saxo. I have checked the switch gets power checked the terminals to blower all switch through 3 speeds OK. But plug looks a bit black though. So is it the blower motor that has gone and is there an easy way of getting it out as the Haynes manual Say's to remove all the dash first. The blower has been intermittently working and not all week. Help a cold wife. Any ideas would be gratefully recived Ta Stephen Altwasser

    Sva At Beverley,

Well don Joe and Bill hope to see the car at Stafford. Took my car out at the weekend as knew the snow was coming just 105 to and from work a bit chilly on the M25 at 6 am But great fun still. all the best Stephen
  18. Hi Dave I have the dohc kit on the road and I did get the robin hood tank with the special swirl pot fitted in the tank I had fitted the original pump by bending the pipe attached to the pump at the top a bit. The problem was that the pick up was not quite at the bottom of the swirl pot so never worked that well had to keep tank quite full and going around roundabouts and right hand bend was a no no cough and splutter. I even stuffed the tank with fuel baffle foam no help at all. So after nearly 5K miles I have now fitted an in line sierra pump and an external swirl pot which is fed by a fcet red top pump. Not cheap so a proper tank would be a cheaper option or get a swirl pot welded to the bottom of robin hood tank. Where I got my bits from LINK SWIRL POT WITH FILTER Good luck with the DOHC Kit Stephen Altwasser

  21. Jon have you got the right wheel etc fitted as the RHSC have diffrent offsets to ford. I have 195 15 and it took a lot of fiddling to get right.
