I have a 2B and with a little cut and shut of the pedals, getting the seat as far back and as low as I can I can get my 6'3" 21 stone in. Comfortably able to drive for 2 hours without a break, bladder permitting. If you fill in your location perhaps a local hoodie may be persuaded, with tea and hobnobs, to try one for size.

2 more here but we have brecci sorted.java script:add_smilie("","smid_48") drinks.gif See you at the service station.

I put a heat shield on spaced out from the RH silencer with 5mm U section ally from RS. 3 lengths of the U section pop riveted to the shield then wrapped around silencer to hold the heat shield away from the silencer. I used plastic edging so the creeping sphere of the SVA man was kept at bay. Pic may make clearer; SVA 2 years and 8000mls ago. Only the caps off the bolts have gone missing . I know you dont want to put the shield on but may be quicker in the end maybe!

I just fitted a disc of hardboard to cover the spokes of the wheel (Nottingham) Held on from behind. As Enforcer has pointed out I beleive there have been failures on the tread of the tyre. If in doubt leave it off BUT dont have the bolt sticking out of the back panel either

My back tyres are a getting a bit short of tread, so I started on the search for an economical solution. Cheapest I could find for Yokohama A539 205/50 R15 86V RPB asymmetric, (the ones Robin Hood supplied with the kit) was £76.00 plus fitting. Then while working I found My Tyres http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/details.pl?ID...&Country=UK]HERE[/url] £50.00 delivery included. Ordered last Thursday arrived on Monday When I called a local supplier I was told that Yokohama are not producing this tyre pattern now. How true that is? NTDWM.

This is what I used.Clickey, go to the bottom of the page. Put the sensor inside the top hose and tighten the jubilee clip. No need to break into the hose, and its adjustable for cut in temp.

Thanks for your time guy's. I have had a PM, just waiting to see if its the one I need.

Does anyone have a Bosch "Hall effect" dizzy with the that is surplus to requirements. The one off a 2ltr EFI SOHC from 1987. The Hall effect on mine has become effective less. Beer tokens and postage dosh waiting.

It started a bit cold & damp, had to scrape the ice off the tintop so we could get the Robin Hood out of the garage. Arrived about 10 followed by Darren and Christine. Chris Brown ventured out from St Ives. Andy showed up with his lad in the tin top. Bill Joey and Irene followed a bit later. Had a good tyre kicking session (to keep warm). Sun tried hard to break out but failed miserably. All in all a good day and the organizers were very glad to see us. Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and an all GOLD New Year. Marilyn & Derek.

Gord, I have pictures but at home. I am unable to get to them as I am researching and developing a positive career path to retirement! (At work!) I'll post them tonight. Derek

Hi Gord, Yup it has a new owner who promised to take good care of it and put it to work. I still have the wheels if anone is interested. Derek.

Hi Greenie, I am fairly sure its not, however I had a PM suggesting that a diff with GA on it shows it’s a LSD. Another test apparently is to hold the input shaft to stop it rotating then turn one output shaft; the other will turn in the same direction if it is a LSD.This one does not. BUT if you look on the Sierra owner’s club site there is a post that says this is not necessarily true.java script:emoticon('', 'smid_12') As you may have gathered I am confused so I am saying its not. java script:emoticon('', 'smid_7') If it is its bargain time! java script:emoticon('', 'smid_11') If you are still interested send me a PM. Derek.

[i'm using an empty CO2 bottle from the MIG welder and am fitting 1/4" BSP air line connectors to it, the ally is thick enough to tap and a bit of thread locking compound will seal it (I hope comments welcome).] I have done the same thing. I have cut the CO2 bottle down so it holds about 1.5ltrs. Tapped in caravan type calor gas connecters for top and bottom, feed from tank to the top, feed to engine from the bottom. Then welded 2 more in near the top (not enough metal in the sides of the CO2 bottle to tap) One is the retunn from the engine the other is the return to the tank. There are 2 fuel pumps in the system, 1 from the tank to the swirl pot the other from the pot to the engine. I have also extended the pickup in the tank with fuel pipe so it now sits near the bottom in the centre of the tank.
-
For what its worth. I have a piece of fuel proof pipe to extend the pick up to the bottom and centre of the tank, about 6in long. To hold it on the bottom I have put a brass calor gas fitting about 1oz. It works fine but you can only use the tank down to about 1/4 because of the surge to either end of the tank. I have now fitted a swirl pot with a low-pressure pump to it, then through the high-pressure pump to the fuel rail, returning to the swirl pot and then back to the tank. As detailed elsewhere on the NW site I think.

Phil, I leant my cover to DGAV and he was going to pass it onto anyone who needed it. Perhaps you could contact Duncan and find out its whereabouts.
