  8. Jade has surgery sat night but is still on ward waiting for dr to see her and discharge her. She is feeling better now though. Waiting around in hospitals is torture. Thanks to everyone who came even with the weather. See you all soon .
  9. Apologies to everyone for the rain and having to dash off on Sat morning. Daughter Jade was admitted to hospital on Friday night with suspected appendicitis and had surgery Sat evening for a burst cyst. She should be out tomorrow. 16. Yep pretty much all Cortina bushes come in poly. Try burtons or poly bush direct. And if you are using the cortina rack with a small steering wheel don't poly bush the rack. It makes it too responsive and very jittery on the motorway.
  17. Last hope the pistons stay solid for a while. Enjoy.
  18. Small list Ian - Well done mate. Be on the road eventually.
  19. Great news Terry. Glad your on the mend.
  20. All the best Ian. You've had it that long your should have got it right by now
  21. I am sure someone will volunteer Bryan. She can have a go in a 5 litre Merc if she wants, but that might spoil her.

Sorry couldn't make this one. Apologies. See you all again soon.
  23. It all depends what state of tune the engine is in. A good set of 1 and 3 quarter SUs should be good for about 160 bhp. You can go to 2 inch SUs . Webber 45s will be fine and will throw more fuel down. But won't make a lot of difference from some rejetted SUs. If you are running skimmed head and Lairy cams and have the engine balanced right the best carbs were 48dellortos. I think They used these on the broad speed touring cars.. Bike carbs I don't know about but would be good experiment.
  24. Don't believe it.... Still be another 10 years before it passes........
