The RHOCar End Of Season Bash 2017 is getting closer!!

This is a great venue with loads of outdoor space for camping and use of the hall for all weather entertainment, similar to last year we will have:-

  • On Site Catering Van
  • Bouncy Castles
  • Family Fun Throughout the day
  • Friday night evening entertainment (Disco, fun and games & option for karaoke)
  • Saturday afternoon Planned run Out
  • Live Band Saturday Night (Playin Layzee - Local covers band providing Rock, Pop, Disco, Punk & Blues form 60's to present, Should cater for all!)
Please Find PDF Entry Form Attached, get booked on and lets make this the best EOSB ever! (Kitcar Not required tintops welcome just attend and enjoy!)
Forms can either be posted with a Cheque payable to RHOCaR or if you want to pay via PayPal send payment to eosb@rhocar.org, please complete the form and take a photo with a smart phone and email it with your PayPal receipt to the eosb@rhocar.org email address. Please note there is an additional 50p per person per day to cover the PayPal charges.
I am open to suggestions and also after volunteers for additional activities we can provide during the weekend (I believe the Quiz, archery and prize bingo were popular last year) We have a PA system available to us during the weekend so if there are any budding artists on the forum don't be shy. Also anything that can keep any children entertained (Andy's Balloon Modeling at stonleigh was a hit) Just Send Me a PM and get involved.
Hope to see most of you there

Leicestershire Area Meeting Wednesday May 17Th

12 May 2017

Posted by Andi in Events

The next meeting will be at The Greenhouse Cafe
The Langton Farm Shop, Melton Road,
East Langton, Leicestershire, LE167TG

This is where a Classic Car Show is hosted. The only downside is it finishes at 9pm, however it does start at 4pm though.

This month some have requested that we finish at 8pm and go and do an hours run about in the countryside which sounds good to me. Logically I think that would be the excellent road to Melton, but that`ll be up to you guys.

Bob & Mo's Bbq

09 May 2017

Posted by florin metal works in Events

Hi folks, Mo & I invite you all to our annual BBQ on the week-end of 28/29/30th July   Format will be similar to last year, arrive when-ever you can on Friday or Saturday, & set up camp/book in at B&B.

We shall provide a BBQ on our patch Friday for those able to make an early visit, Saturday after breakfast we shall tour the local country-side; taking different passengers who wish/haven't their own kit/classic with them. We provide lunch around noon.

We shall try again to tax your grey cells with a build project in the afternoon before skittles & buffet at a local pub,  Sunday will be a BBQ breakfast cooked by Al Milton, & then it will be pack up & leave when-ever you wish.

We expect tickets to be £12:50 per person for the whole week-end --- there will be no turn-up on the day/half days/free days.  Sorry to be blunt but we need advance payment in order to arrange the pub alley, food & fun.   As last year there is no charge for children.

There is no need to bring any food ( except for Saturday brekkie ) but if you wish to add something a little special it will be most welcome, alcohol will be self-supply & hopefully share.  Tea & coffee will be on tap through-out the week-end, help yourself from the garden room.

We have plenty of space for tents/caravans/motor homes & expect to have a porta-loo on site but no shower, so please make your own washing arrangements.

Please put your names on the list below, & we shall get busy.  ( We need a long list, please)

Has been suggested we take a cruise down to Portishead (overlooking Portsmouth)  does this appeal?

Please shout & we'll arrange.

Lincolnshire Meet For May

04 May 2017

Posted by alanrichey in Events

Probably none :)   (Unless you count last Monday at Stoneleigh).  I am taking the opportunity to take a couple of holidays and won't be back till the 25th.    However, don't let my absence put you off.

1.   'Gearheads at the Ground' at the Newark Showground is on this Sunday 7th. 1300-1700 (or whenever you have had enough)   Nicko and I go to this fairly regularly and it's always a good turnout, 300+ cars..  And the weather is looking good so great for a picnic.

2.  After I get back if the weather looks good I will look at something for the weekend of 27/28.  Although that is the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix and Jensen Button's return !!

3.  If you want to do something yourselves I am happy to help.
