Daughter got me the distance meter and IR thermometer - I'm impressed.  Now use the laser dot on the IR to annoy the cat!

I got the thermometer today.

I had one for years and the missus tidied it away, never to be found again. Excellent for measuring headers with bike carbs to see what is lean etc.

Used my IR thermometer to-day on first run of engine I built --- inlet temp 90*F  ---- exhaust temp 31*F  & frost on the manifold.
