Even better is the 18V drill for 29.99. I bought one three years ago but it has just died. Worth it's weight in gold. Will be getting one on Thursday, maybe two.

I may be wrong but I think that these drills are cobalt coated HSS and not cobalt alloy steel.However I 'll bet they are still good value judging from tools I've bought from them before.

i saw that they were coated but could not work out if the drills typically sold as 'cobalt' were coated, or as part of the alloy!

Hi all, don't wish to spoil the bargain hunt but if they were cobalt alloy steel that would be that price EACH; these could be dirt cheap 'cos they're cobalt coated dirt but then the SUN some-times shines (especially on our boys in blue) Regards Bob.

We went and bought a set just to see.

 

Must admit they do look as though they are coated.

 

Nice tin though, to keep them safe.

 

I also got a set of half decent set of 9, ball point allen keys £1.99.

 

Lazer level with a tripod £4.99 will be usefull to set camber and I am sure with some thought the tracking.

 

Although I have a full "Hoffmann" Tracking gauge set - up if any one ever wants to borrow one.

it does say HSS cobolt coated, but they are cheap and should with care drill a few holes in the chassi, but if your still building buy good quality bits from a engineering supplies.
