Liquids Under My Car

my wife moaned about drips on the garage floor so I put a drip tray under the engine and gear box, so far there is a mixture of lime green, blackish and red , the lime green is anti freeze the blackish is engine oil but the red stuff has got me baffled , there is some sort of grading with the lime green mainly at the front, the red at the back and the black mixed in all over, and no the red isn't blood

Brake/clutch fluid or you've filled up with TRACTOR diesil!!

Red could be from the gearbox if you have auto trans fluid in there like many have.

Or the red one could be from the power steering?

Is the red fluid watery as i seem to remember holts did an antifreeze that turned red when contaminated with oil or exhasut gasses etc.

 

I have also known of ATF being used in Manual gearboxes as some rebuilders recomend it, many moons ago we used it in our racing bike gearboxes.

Found a puddle of water under my car this afternoon

 

Then remembered that I don't have anywater in it - still building

 

Must be a leak in the garage
