Annual Mileage

I know how longs a piece of string?

I will hopefully be looking at insurance in the not too distant future and was wondering how many miles people generally do each year.

I would be looking at weekends and commuting (15miles each way) weather permitting.

I currently do about 10,000 a year in my everyday car, and was thinking about 3-4,000 in the kit.

Over to you,

Dean

Hi,

in 2 years i don't think ive done more than 3000 miles. Planning on doing more when ive got my roof and doors fitted as i can't risk any slight chance of rain at the moment. Iam insured for 5000 miles through osbournes which have been pretty good so far and are one of the cheapest ive found.

I keep trying to do more but end doing about 1500 a year, I have 3k on my policy. When you get insurance you must ask for commuting to be included as specialist policies usually cannot be changed or cancelled at any time, found out the hard way didnt get commuting first year on road and worse still when I had it included the next year it was free!

Hey up,

I have had quotes so far ranging from £152 for me only, £200 for Caroline and myself inc commuting etc, fully comp from Adrian Flux

Upto £595 for me only etc. etc. from is it James Footman or something? I can't remember as tears were streaming down my face with laughter.

Can't seem to do any better at the minute but still looking.

Hi, Have you tried Frank Pickles, My S7 costs £75 for 5000 mls and I can take it to work in nice weather. I'm an old fart at 53 but I also have a claim on my tin tops insurance.

Regards.

Frank Pickles were supposed to ring me back with their quote, but nothing yet.
