After the snow and mayhem last month, we should have a bit more luck this time!

7:30pm weds the 3rd of feb, at the fox house between sheffield and hathersage.

Does anyone have an impact driver i can borrow, preferably with a torx bit? I need to get these driveshafts off, last time i tried i broke 3 tools and thought 'cobblers' to the idea.

Don't even try, cut the heads off with an angle grinder, split the joint, and remove the studs with mole grips, you will be supprised how easy they come out.

 

Put in new m8 x 50 socket cap screws (we paid £1.55 + vat for 15 at our local bolt place)

Was going to come for my first time tonight so I could pinch some ideas, but snows coming quite fast now and wife says I have to make dinner first.

yes, just spoken to nick, we're attempting it. If it's bad, and nobody has any phone signal, we'll reconvene at the stag on psalter lane, S11 8YL

 

I might add, i'm not as confident as nick is, we'll see!

did anyone turn up

 

spent 45 mins to an hour on psalter lane 2 hrs to get from centre of town to Dore

 

and i got the wipers working especially for the occasion.
