Custom Exhaust Mainifold

got the standard 2.0l zetec exhaust mainifold on at the moment and book the car in for a power upgread 'new cams and tune up' but have been looking at upgreading the exhaust mainifold i have found a company that will build me 1 but for £750 seems a lot for what it is. is it me or is this the going price for them and are they realy worth it, http://www.powerspeed.co.uk/index.html is the only place that will do the work, have phoned around many companys with no joy no 1 else will do the work. need help deciding if its worth it.

That is quite cheap for the going rate. You should have seen the quotes I had. As to the secnd question "is it worth it" I really dont know.

£700 for the complete system including box -- 91db at IVA -- manufactured by Maniflow salisbury.

Iknow it,s afair distance from you but try Martin @ MK eng/sports cars ,top products and aguy that knows his stuff ,dont know about prices but was v/compfor arepackable silencer for my S7 [usual disclaimers] regards mower man [mick]

Going on some of the "automotive Porn" they have on their website it would seem they know exactly what they are doing. Is it worth it. In my opinion, which seems to count for less and less these days, hell yes!

there is a chap near Buckingham (Tingewick) that did my S/S 4-2-1 exhaust booked my 2b in advance (1 week)drove to his workshop went back that evening , nice shinny exhaust with a cherry bomb silencer on the end sounded loverly all for £475

Can thoroughly recommend Powerspeed. Theyve done some bits for mine, a friends and supplied some 5" pipe for Rays Vette.

The price is spot on for round here.
