just canceled my fishing trip this morning, mate called my said it was blowing up a bit in north wales (liverpool dock) 109mph he thought casting would be a bit of a problem

Just had a nother battering here on the coast, but thankfully no damage apart from one fence panel from the first blow before Christmas.

We're about half a mile from the sea as the crow flies, and the back of the house was splattered with salt spray which has to come over the cliffs!

 

Spare a thought though for those poor households and villages with no power and flooding over Christmas, not nice at all and with another 'event' as they are calling it due for Monday!
