2.0 Pinto Water Pump

Before my engine goes in the car, I want to change the cambelt, tensioner and water pump. I currently have a viscous fan, however, I wish to change to an electric one.

As there are two types of water pump, do I buy the viscous or nonviscous type? All that needs connecting is the pulley for the pump as I do not need a fan.

either or... viscous one sticks out slightly more as it has a thread on the end of the shaft for the fan, the non V, the fan bolts on with the pulley bolts
