Horn And Hazards Stopped Working

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it is likely that the horn and the hazard light switch are on the same relay?

Both the horn and hazards have stopped working. Hopefully its just one issue and not 2 separate ones??

Running as far as I am aware a standard wiring loom.

Thanks

Its a fuse gone....

I had the exact same thing just last week.

I knew the horn had gone, but no idea about the hazards until

I replaced the fuse & the hazards started working.

Not on the same relay but in the early column switches they used a common supply from fuse 13 in the original sierra into terminal H(30) on the column switch. (A constant live supply). It is possible you just have a blown fuse, a break in the supply from that fuse to terminal H(30) or less likely an internal fault in the column switch.

ps You should find the indicators still work despite the hazards dying as there is also an ignition live supply to these but a constant/battery live to horn/hazards.

Yes that's correct - indicators are still working but hazard switch wont.

Hoped it was just a fuse, but didn't want to go and try and fix one to find I had to fix an additional fault too.

Cheers guys.
