.What product is best for poly bush fitting into the wishbones

And which bit should I lube up..??

I do mean long term not just to get them into the wishbones.

 

doesn't the tube need some sort of lubricant to rotate ??

The best stuff as normally supplied is any moly based grease basically Marcus copper grease is also used fitted loads in past and what is supplied is basically this packaged expensively mate

washing up liquid contains a lot of salt, so would lead to corrosion of the inner part of the bush.

 

Silicone grease would be my first choice of lubricant as it doesn't seem to react with anything. Moly grease or even a lithium grease would probably be ok, as i doubt the polyurethane of the bush would be badly affected. Copper grease would worry me, as adding a 3rd particle between two surfaces vastly increases wear (3rd body abrasion).

Only safe way to go to prevent future failures.

If you can't find any the old Vaseline stuff is the same as.
