dont get hung up on the vacuum advance, but do change the dizzy if you have a spare one.

When you are flat out the vacuum advance has absolutely no effect.

It just advances the ignition at cruise throttle settings for better fuel economy.

well autochoe woring now and best of all dizzy changd timming set and now gos like an 1800 should so few tweaks but mostly there tahnk you everyone and thanks paul for advice on vacum thanks again guys what a club

Glad your up and running...so dizzy it was then?.

Just as a point of reference, before I went full Engine management I used Aldon Automotive. They supplied me a new dizzy with Flame Thower coil and electronic module (ignitor 2) and new leads, now this was for a twin cam lotus and made a huge difference.

If you want a recommendation they get my vote.

Put is this way I have car just over a year and granted I'll health and family have hinder working on it but it's feels better than ever will break speed limits now if I was that way inclined bring on stoneleigh thanks again Paul and orthers
