Pinto Injection Head

If you've got the head and carbs then all you need to buy is the cam and head gasket. My engine is as the post above but the head was skimmed to raise CR and a megajolt was fitted to fine tune the ignition. Gave 140 bhp at the flywheel on the rollers but more importantly to me is the loads of torque it produces.

If you choose to keep the injection the FR32 will NOT work well.

You need to fit a cam designed to use with injection.

Good point, the standard efi doesn't like overlap.

There is a specific high torque cam for the Injection Pinto I think it is the FR34

A similar cam is the FR30 both have similar duration than standard just more lift and will not confuse the Fuel Injection system

Hi I think I'll just put 4-1 exhaust , and bike carbs( which I've already got) and see if I'll be happy with that, it is bound to be a fair bit off difference to my 1.6 . Thanks for all your help. Dave
