Good Morning All

I have just picked up my first Robin hood and am looking to put a set off twin Dellortos/Webers do i go 40s Or 45s it has the 2ltr pinto sierra engine SHOC i would also be putting a fast road cam in it at some point it has been unloved in its previous life but has now found a new lease of life is there anybody on the south coast West Sussex/Hampshire out there who owns one for info

Probably 40s I would guess. I run 45s on a tuned redtop but 40s should be enough on a mildly tuned pinto. My tuner reckons dellortos slightly better for road use but use whatever is available at the right price

Hi Steve,

I run a 2Ltr pinto with Weber 40s on it & a Kent FR32 cam.  With 32mm chokes in the carbs it is pretty well behaved on the road but probably loses out above 6000rpm. It all depends where & how you're going to drive it.  Make the carbs too big and it will be a very thirsty pinto !
