hi i need help again fitted 2l engine and got running up today only to see temp gauge go through roof again then to top it of fan switch not working. wired fan up permanent and it hovered around 90,not running with a thermostat in as no heater,the question is has any body had this problem before? i got a brand new rad fitted 35mm core from a polo could the water flow be too fast for the rad? it has got me baffled this one can any one help with any answers please?

well got in garage again woohoo and this time got top end rebuilt and head bolted down,inlet manifold on and all accesories lol fresh fuel as none in it. and after fuel got to carb she fired up (big grin lol) went to her this morning first turn of key and away again she was just need to do finishing touches which wont get done yet lol.but she is running so one hurdle over with.

i have fitted polo rad in the nose cone part so yes a polo will fit you just need to extend the rad hoses and make fixing brackets for the rad couple of hour taking you time.hth here is a pic the red lines are the mount bracket mount ing places and the blue the rad just measure and measure again to make fit it in the right place,i put the nose cone on and held it in place to see where was best for rad and its tight but does fit.

not big enough for kit its only a 600 lol problem is i love my bikes had since was young and being brought up round them did not help lol, might do it up and sell yet bit more cash to do more mods on kit lol

got a new toy to play with but not in best condition yet as needs new barrel and some tiedying up on bodywork but got plenty of time as her indoors dont no yet but when she finds out im dead lol

no light on mine either if not fitted cant be tested told buety about kits no two are the same.

mine seems to have some movement when braking but not that bad it got through the mot so dont think it major if it was major i think the mot tester would have commented on it.

i run a polo rad £30 off ebay brand new. hth just need to extend the rad hoses slightly

i got wooden doors which open from the inside only and put a long peice of box section 2 inch sqaure across the inside of the doors.

mines still in bits too its all engine work though i think i have a couple of hours free then someone phones me up can i just do this and that to their car and then it goes from an hour on a friends car to four or five hour then my days gone,opened the door on the garage yesterday when a bit of motivation kicked in then shut the doors again lol looked and thought too much to do today not enough time now lol

i used a polo rad for a 1.7td i think just lenghtened the pipework from waterpump to rad and thermostat housing easy to do if you want pic's will get some

I have been looking at the shark ones like the look its either them or a digidash type
