fitted clutch cable today still some adjustment to be made but the pedal was very stiff spent most of the day messing about with pedal box getting the throttle pedal to miss steering column

I have a standard zetec thermo housing if that's what your after

its ok engine was not in when I was underneath and I did a good job of hiding the axel stands from picture

starter motor was a tight fit most of that wiring is redundant maybe next winter a rewire is needed

h had to get underneath and redo gearbox mount

yes cos it fitted best on the retro ford mount and no rewire to do

oh yes had to do a bit of bodging had to grind a socket down so I could get a spanner on to get pulley of the zetec alternator done it good bodge

wot a great day engine out gearbox repositioned engine back in bolted up on gearbox engine mounts all bolted starter motor on and it works idler pulley on alternator on pulley belt on

had another good day on the conversion got the clutch and flywheel fitted engine mounts are fitted over next couple of days will get water rail fitted then can drop engine in fit the carbs just got to sort out a exhaust manifold then not far to go

142 at the wheels and you want more it wont be driveable in the wet

my pinto had a kent fr33 cam also skimmed head and still didn't have valve contact . only thing can think of is the head skimmed and by how much

I had three sets of engine mounts to choose from I ended up using the retroford diy mounts got a spirit level on the cam cover and got the engine dead level gearbox is good in the tunnel as well

another full day remade one of engine mounts cos weren't happy with it they are both undercoated stick some hammerite on tomorrow and there finished once I had remade it the carbs cleared the chassis so no more problem

well been hard at it today and I have got the engine in position and just about got the engine mounts sorted thermostat housing is sorted thought I would try carbs back on and now they are hitting the chasis oh well yet another problem to solve and my megajolt came today how many wires think definitely need help with that
