  1. I will be there and hopefully with the kit, considering it will be it's last day for 6 months (SORN).
  2. I just fired up my little beast to clear some space in the garage. Left in on the drive with engine running and moved the new man-shed roofing panels from trailer into the back garden. Typically no rain all day....then just when its on the drive, boom down comes the rain. So now the poor kit is back in the garage a wet. Quick question guys..... I left the kit standing for a long time without starting it. The bike carbs pi$$ed fuel everywhere except the fuel pipes, switched it off and left 10 mins. Then fired the kit up again....no leaks, no problems. Do the seals dry out on the carbs and leak if unused for a while? Seems that after fuel has passed thru them, the seals have swelled up and OK again. Any ideas?
  3. The old gearbox etc.... he owes me EDIT: Sorry....Owes the wife

Cheers dude...all wood has been treated before fixing, I will stick to the tried and trusted method of breathable insulation and inner walls.
  5. Me in the tin top, after popping into Keith's pad to pick up some stuff.
  6. Grrrrr....I hate phone scammers.... First thing you should ask them is - "Please provide photographic proof of identity or I cannot continue with this conversation" Rule of thumb is that the only time you will require help from somebody is when you ask them, not the other way around. example..... I'm stuck trying to fix my wiring on my kit, so I contact RHOCaR for help. RHOCaR never contact me in advance to do my wiring and then charge me. But I must admit scammers on email are getting very inventive these days and even I have to double check everything I see. Working in IT, I found the Linux VS Microsoft OS flag key a giggle. Seriously - most of the time if they call me, I immediately ask to be removed from the database and cut them off - No other details are exchanged.

OK....thanks for the info...just wondered if anybody had attempted brushing fibreglass on the inside of the wood (as per fibre glassing wooden roofs) to stop water ingress and damp. I intended on insulating and applying some inside boards also, but haven't got around to it just yet. Next is getting the roof on and making sure it's water tight, insulation, inner walls, doors, windows and then flooring. Then the easy bits - internal wall, electrics, lighting, shelving and train set

Close but no cigar..... It will have a few home luxuries. But this will mainly be the storage/workshop/play area. The kit and main garage on the side of the house is next on the agenda for upgrades during the dark months. .......hmmmmmm, minibar

as per the quote dude: "Fibre-glass the void" which I imagine is a lot and requires a roller and a trade/bulk sized tin

  13. A couple of the piccies/videos/memories I collected over the weekend: http://s1275.photobucket.com/user/Dino2B/slideshow/RHOCaR%20End%20of%20the%20Year%20Bash%202015
  14. Hugs and kisses all round to everybody who attended & my family are already shouting for another meet-up A special group hug for Phil for making it happen and if you need any help in the future then shout. Shaft deserves a big hug also as the support vehicle and making sure everybody is happy bunnies. A big thank you to the Band (The Catalogues), RHOCaR, Flux insurance and the company (Keith please fill in the details) that kept many kids (including adults) happy all weekend. Cheers To Bikez & Jaimo for lessons on Adult Jousting (next time I will wear a hockey mask) Andi - I think your car loves me (ask him about the love bite on my leg) Great to see some old friends again & make some new. Will attempt to post some of the piccies when I get chance.....but still buzzing from the weekend. Just wish the weekend didn't have to end....But then again....I don't think my body couldn't stand much more abuse. EDIT: Posted some pics at the end of the event details: http://www.rhocar.org/index.php?showtopic=40646&page=12

Bloody hell Andi...single horsepower Vs 'The Green Mean Machine' ......Normally I would say the more horse power the better chance of winning. But in this case, I'm glad your all home safe and sound (family and the car)
  17. David...I agree it does look a lot better. Why spend all that time and effort on the engine transplant and have it look like an ugly duckling. I bet every time you turn up at a show, carpark, pub etc.....the question will be, "what's under the bonnet?" Then you open it up and go, " tada!" They look, they cringe, then they realise and say, "wow, a V6", "I bet that goes like stink" Time to spend those dark nights polishing it vigorously Then when you open the bonnet they will need sun glasses.
  18. yellow armbands..... I think there tango orange these days.....

  20. Going by last years events....Nikki introduced the RHOCaravan community into how to convert your caravan into a indoor swimming area. This year she introduced the Cornwall caravan community into how to convert the outdoor awning area (tent on caravan) into a outdoor swimming area and how to turn wellies into floating boats for the kids to play with
  21. Of course good sir.... All pikey's have facilities to keep fresh, clean and be sick into.... Nikki would know.
  22. If you need a wash, then nikki has an indoor and outdoor bath for our caravan
