  1. Awesome weekend again. Thanks to Rich and Jackie for organising and booking the good weather. Thanks to Gaz for the jump start Sunday morning. Need a new battery for sure. Great bunch of people and many laughs had. Can't wait for the next one!
  2. I'm am all excited. And that's just for the all you can eat brekkie!
  3. Where you thinking off? If is not massively out the way?
  4. Specially if we need to waste an hour or so whilst the clouds clear!
  5. Room booked. Only 4 rooms left. Free breakfast via this link https://www.booking.com/s/15_8/dc829022
  6. I'm in. Waterproofs are packed but at least I will only get wet to my skin. Can't be wetter than the August trip!
  7. I will be there. Hope the weather is reasonable. Might be the last trip of the season?
  8. I had a similar issue when I first set my car up. I have a pinto with zx6r carbs and originally had the bike fuel pump. Although it delivered at the right pressure it was not delivering at the right amount. The engine was draining the float bowls quicker than the pump could fill. Swapped to a facet pump and it's all good. My issues became very evident in the rolling road as it would just start spluttering! I also had to have the jets drilled out to I think 1.6mm but it was a few years ago now
  9. I am a similar size and have a zero. I have swapped to a dropped floor and fibre glass seats and now have bags of room. I did have the standard floor and roadster seats and it was snug. The fibre glass seats with the pads are more comfy for me as they give me a bit more space sideways and the sides come round my legs rather than the side bolsters digging in my thighs. I also have a small steering wheel which helps except for parking Where are you based?
  10. Looks interesting, what you making this time?
  11. I really like it too, Dan had them made as a limited batch, so grabbed one whilst they were available. I had a similar issue with rain on the trip to Wales. I have no windscreen so wipers not an issue, but no drain hole in seat and waterproofer that were not waterproof did make it damp.
  12. Yer. Gonna have some clean up but didn't want it falling off

  14. Mine was exactly the same before the geometry set up and corner weighting. My car alway felt like it was about to jump off the road. Now it is properly set up it is totally different, grips and goes exactly where you want it to
  15. Haha. Didn't even notice that. No wonder Chris was so popular
  16. https://photos.app.goo.gl/lccbTwZzCjfCegT03 Hope these pics work?

Steve
  20. OK, here are all the pics we have from the weekend. Dee added some effects to some. We are going to get them on some discs, so if you want a copy let me know (PM me you address)and we can post them out. https://1drv.ms/f/s!ArMHz3m5tMNYixMzfKAljxeFSDZP Enjoy
  21. Just thought I would post a good customer service story. Generally hear the bad but no so often the good. Back in May after nearly burning my car to pieces I bought a 40amp compact alternator from Car Builder Solutions. Arrived next day with a 1 hour time slot text to me. I was sat waiting like an inpatient child! So, after the wales trip I was getting some weird low charge situations which got worse as the weekend went on. Not enough to stop or cause issues but got a bit concerned. I did all the normal tests and was getting a maximum charge of 13 volts. Spoke to CBS (around 3pm Thursday) and they confirmed I had done the correct tests and that they would send out a replacement, no quibbles at all. The new unit arrived next day (yesterday) at 11am. All fitted and working correctly again. CBS emailed me a shipping label to box up the old one for a free return. Now that's what I call good service. Might not be the worlds cheapest on the unit or postage (but what I felt was a reasonable price), but you get what you pay for and the car is back and working 100% within less than 24 hours of diagnosing the issue. Just wish I still lived round the corner from them, picking stuff up used to be much easier!
  22. Hi All, Is anyone else missing the trip already?, got withdrawal symptoms! Here are the first 100 pics we had from the weekend. https://1drv.ms/f/s!ArMHz3m5tMNYiirWMmItsZkUG7vN The plan is when they are all sorted to burn to disc and have a cloud version too. Enjoy
  23. Good video. Love the end, do i get royalties for that? Dee is sorting through the 500+ photo's she took. Might take a few days!
