Aidan Hassan (Graham coles grandson) as was gdc on the forum is now racing in BMW supercup. He raced in civic cup last year and karting before. On 16th to 17th August he will be racing at silverstone national circuit. Who would be interested in a weekend club meet to support him. It's £30 for the weekend of racing.

Area meet Wednesday 23rd April at Dog and Gun keyham

September I a looking at organising a trip to Circuit des Remparts in Angouleme. The event is weekend 19th to 21st September. Looking at doing 17th to 23rd. Accommodation includeding continental breakfast and evening meal would be £80 per night. Limited space available of 4 rooms. Additionally Accommodation may be available but not guaranteed. Please register intrest ASAP so tickets for circuit entry can be booked.

Keep your eyes open for the article in the club magazine. Kerry Allen organised a run out and visit that do don't think anyone can better. So lucky to be a part of this club and attend events. 

Wednesday 12th June at  Dog and Gun, Main St, Keyham, Leicester LE7 9JQ 6.30ish onwards, we had reserved parking last month long the bottom of the carpark. Food is avaliable till 8pm.

My type 9 had a knob, it was in the seat to the right of it. It has now divorced the car and ran off with the engine.

Just do it, you won't regret it the mazda engine and box drive so nice compared to pinto and type 9.

Some time ago when was involved as events sec a club track day was asked about. At the time the cost was massive , around the £8k mark. I now notice that Blyton park do a club track day. So i fired off a email to enquire and was surprised at the price. they basically limit the track to 6 cars and do about 7 lap sessions they have cut the cost by using cctv and less marshals. I enquired for 24 cars latter part of the year (sept), the price they came back with was £2950+vat so £3540 that works out at £147.50 per car if 24 cars. what are peoples thoughts?
