Martin, have just spent 2 days chasing round in ever decreasing circles on the wiring --to (at last) find I have an intemittant fault on my dip/flasher/hazzard switch; has anybody laid claim to the switches on your scrapper-- if not how much & could you bring them to Exeter? Cheers; Bob.

Are not the brackets made from mild steel tube & rod? If so it's more likely to be metal fatigue due to vibration -- so what's needed is a more springy steel; not stronger; although a bit of R.S.J would probably suit --it would be too heavy to vibrate.

Can you get the last smidgin of angle by raising the ball-joint tube in the pinch-clamp on the hub carrier?

Hi Malcolm, is the biggest problem amateur build statos -- for the buyer that is -- at what-ever price the buyer pays he's getting a complete car -- ie parts & LABOUR therefore not amateur built. From memory the Birkin was a very good 7 type car at the higher end of the price range, regards Bob Fry.

Sell a product in it's cardboard box, customer takes home,unraps & puts box in his home bin=all O.K=domestic rubbish----Unrap goods for customer (to check all is O.K) he takes goods home & you (the retailer) put box in your bin= you pay council LOADS of money to dis-pose of your trade waste--been happening for the past 20 odd years down here.
