  1. I may be wrong but they look like pre IVA repeaters that go onto the side of the tub, for IVA you need them on the front wings or simlar to get the field of view required. GBS do a pair of little LED ones for about £10-00 that don't look out of place. Steve
  2. Deepest felt sympathy Andy, our 20 yr old plus zanussi died last week, smoke escaped from the motor with a bang so I price up a new motor £369-00 + p&p. Now gone to the scrap man in the sky. Best prices I could find (SWMBO only has eyes for another zanussi) was Hughs direct, can't comment on the service yet as it's not due till Wed. OH and the front UPVC door lock knacked up on Fri night, just waiting for the 3rd one now LOL Steve
  3. WELL DONE PAUL Your boot covers done, let me know when you are comming in the Zero to pick it up LOL Steve

    Advice Please

Hi Dave There are plenty of seats out there without belt holes just because yours have them it does not mean you must use them, The GBS seats are narrow at shoulder hight so the harness should fit over your shoulders no problem. If you are still concerned give GBS a call they have put plenty of zero's through IVA with this kit fitted. Steve

    Advice Please

Hi Dave 1) don't put the seat belts through the seat holes for IVA as some testers will then say they are part of the belt system, and want proof of seat / mounting strength 2) pull your tin top up to a wall etc mark the light paterns, change over to the kit car in the same place and match them, they will allow you to adlust them at IVA using there kit, so as long as you can get them close you will be ok 3) use diodes in the 2 circuits to stop them back feeding, but I'm sure Longboarder will be along with a better solution I'm sure someone will be along with other advice soon as there are many solutions / opinions out there Steve

    Animated Gif's

Nick are you fitting air bags to the Zero? LOL
  12. Should have said mounting holes on the bottom wishbones use the set closest to the hub, and you will still need 9" springs if you use new bottom mounts, you could try and use the old mounts as they do push out of the zimmers, but I would think twice about trying to fit them to the bottom of new shocks, for a start any warranty would be void and you would probably ruin the bushes You can still use 10" springs if you compress the spings when fitting them (not easy or safe) the 450lb springs going on next are 9" but the ones fitted at the moment ARE 10" but not worth the effort as there is no issue of them going coil bound or any other problems. Steve
  13. If the sump is the same level as the bell housing you have the shortest sump off the 420 (the rover 620 sump is 20mm deeper) You will find 250 lb spring to soft Belive me I'm on my 2nd set 350 lb, 400lb, --------> 450lb next Zimmers = zimmerides, and is what the kit came with and they are not up to the job, mine had no resistance after about 300 miles the bottom mounts are a u channel welded to a flat bar GBS will make you some up, if you want to make your own 40 x 40 box section with the seem welded side cut out is the right size, and this welded to a flat bar about 6mm X 11/2 that can be bolted down onto the lower wishbone, because this lifts the bottom mount you should drop to 9" springs or you may have trouble fitting them.
  14. 1) I have 400lb on at the moment - still to soft, changing to 450lb this winter 2) Bin the zimmers and get proper shock's, new bottom mounts required 3) Yes What sump have you got fitted? is it level with the bottom of the bell housing or lower? You can always fit a sump guard as well HTH Steve
  15. They needed money for the phone bill so they sold the chassis to GDC with some sort of tale about it falling off a wagon. Sorry to have to tell you this :D :D :D Keep up the reports from spain Steve
