I have based my info on the IVA manual section 18 revision 3 DATE:26/09/2009. 11. Other than in the case of a Mass Produced vehicle the characters on the manufacturer’s plate must be at least 3.5mm high. 12. The characters used for the VIN stamped into the chassis, frame or other similar structure must be at least 3.5mm high. Several of the sections have had revisions so its always best to use the IVA manual from http://online.businesslink.gov.uk/Transpor...__Version_4.pdf hope this helps

Ive been putting it off for ages, so this weekend decided to get the dash done on my zero. I used plywood & bedmat sponge & vinyl. I have an Acewell digidash, bright 6, engine start button, rear fog switch, rear fog tell-tale, "boost" button (for switching megajolt maps) & a GBSC badge that lifts off for access to megajolt PC connector. see pics for end result, not bad for a 1st time Should be ok for iva

after reading about halfords trade card on a few forums i thought i would try and blag one at the local store. iam not in the trade at all but told them i was building a kit and servicing the tintop. she checked with manager and 5 mins later i had the card. she said that best prices are on consumables, has anyone got any examples of the savings cheers Paul

iam doin a dohc with fazer 1000 carbs+ megajolt for ignition in a zero, i bought the car part built with most bits included. i have read that the carbs are best when respaced and the new alloy manifold has the thermostat housing built in. the megajolt wasnt too bad to setup once all the wiring was sorted. the engine runs ok but when the build is finished a rolling road session is essential. i can post some pics if needed cheers Paul

Hi Tim I am building a Zero with 2L DOHC, Fazer 1000 carbs and Megajolt. you will need, Edis 4+coil pack+cables. I got them from scrappie. If your DOHC is standard it should have trigger wheel fitted. The black 2 pin connector should be below and to the left of the oil filter(looked at from offside of engine) I have just connected mine up and had the engine running. The Autosportslab website has loads of info, it just takes a while to find the relevant bits. What stage of the build are you at? Paul

baj25 you have PM Also on the autosportlab website you can change prices to £ by clicking on flag at bottom right of the page. Cheers Paul

I tried Martin Millener but due to price increases it wasnt worth him doin anymore. So I took a gamble and purchased 3 Megajolt V4 TPS kits with mounting brackets from Autosportlabs in the US. then had them built complete with molex wired up. i kept one for myself and sold the other 2 on ebay. (Took 6 weeks to sell) the cash I got from ebay meant that I got my megajolt free. luckily the gamble paid off I got coil pack & edis with cables from local scrappie for fiver. If you can build yourself it might be worth a try Cheers Paul
