using fazer 1000 carbs with megajolt ignition

I have a DOHC with MT75 gbox in my zero, dont know if a type 9 matches, I got a 4-1 manifold from the guys at Robin Hood, £200 delivered. give them a ring and tell them what its for.

Hi Steve I have the MT75 (not 4x4) in my zero with 2l DOHC, Iam not home till next saturday so if you want to come over and have butchers no problem.

See photo of spare I have, as long as you have removed the pin from lowest hole you can grip bottom of gear lever with mole grips and twist back and forth to release it, also spray it with some WD40. Mine was well rusted so took a while to release it Cheers Paul

this is where mine is at present,it was put there by previous owner but I want to shift it to under water pump. can I use a ready made bracket or do I need to fabricate one any photos anyone has of alt under wpump would be good to see cheers Paul

I have just bought some Ring M-Lites from ebay £6 inc P&P, not fitted yet as still building. They have adhesive backing and can be bent slightly to fix on curved surfaces 2 banks of 8 leds in each lamp very bright cheers Paul

thanks for info I ve seen the fleabay quickshifts etc(£46 seems alot for 3" of metal with no moving parts), but as Iam tight as a knats chuff I was hoping someone had one lying around for used prices.

Hi Rob I am also building a Zero with a DOHC engine and a spare engine would be great, unfortunately I live 370 miles away in Newcastle and I dont think the car springs would be happy. Ford DOHC 8v Exhaust Manifold 4 into 1, see photos its in excellent condition, looks like a Robin Hood S/Steel jobbie probably suit a 2B or similar. yours for £95+ del I live 6 miles north of Newcastle on Tyne, you could collect or I my be able to sort out free delivery to a motorway junction (my brother is a lorry driver) any questions please ask Cheers Paul

my kit is part built, its got a dohc 8v EFI with standard ecu etc from a sierra. I have a set of R1 carbs (spaced and setup for this engine) with alloy manifold but I dont have clue how to fit them Where do fuel lines, vacuum and electrics go? Do I need a fuel return to tank? Do carbs need to be at an angle? Can I use them with the original ecu? Is there anyone out there that can help !!!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All Newbie member, newbie builder, I have just bought a part built Zero from a private seller, complete with donor vin plate and V5. Yellow GRP with ally panels It has the following spec and I would welcome any thoughts and opinions. Fitted: Ford 2 litre Dohc 8v non cat- head skimmed and polished MT75 gearbox Diff- dont know ratio- donor was a `92 Sierra GT Adj Gaz allround Acewell digi dash GBS supplied rad & fan To be fitted: R1 bike carbs with alloy inlet manifold Exhaust - need to source a manifold Aeroscreen- need to source If anyone has good or bad points I would love to hear them Cheers Paul
