  4. Hi mate, as far as I know MT75 should bolt right up to the pinto engine. You would have a bit of travel on the clutch release bearing cause I believe the dohc engines had a thicker flywheel(Please anyone correct me if am wrong). check out exhaust collectors on line, it might help you visualize what i mean. its is the merge into which all the 4 pipes (primary pipes) from the engine exhaust mounting face goes into. The exhaust silencer is then connected to this collector. My one is 4-1 though. I do apologise it it comes across as if am trying to teach you how to suck eggs, just trying to explain it how i see it. lol Regards Femi
  5. hi dean, Does the loom have relay box, and how many fuses does the fuse box take. regards femi
  6. Hiya mate, the pinto stand is the one supplied by gbs paid £45 for it but you can have it for £30. The exhaust does not contain the collector for the primary pipes as i have used it. so let me know if you still want it. regards femi quote name='wilky' date='23 October 2010 - 09:37 PM' timestamp='1287869856' post='216239'] both i havent got no engine mounts for the pinto only the dohc engine

To the forum members running zetec, what do you have to do to get through IVA (emissions and engine age proving). my pinto is ready, clutch changed and gearbox mated. but taking delivery of my zetec next week. just wanted to know. before i install the pinto might have a change of mind.
  17. ok ill get the picture up tomorrow
  18. Sorry nick I have got any pictures. But imagine the rear upright fitted.brake caliper mounted on the bracket. the braided hose coming from the mounting point on the chassis. the inlet hole for caliper just barely crosses the back of the upright. if i files a notch of about 3-4mm dia on the side. I can get the hose through hope this helps to visualize it.
  19. An using the hyra mech rear calipers from rally design. got a slight clearance issue. calipers does not fully clear upright,is it ok to put a slight circular notch about 3mm to allow braided hose past. does this weaken the upright by much? cheers femi
  20. Another question, thought i'll use same thread. when fitting the upper rear wishbone. the left-hand is too long and fouls the bulkhead cross member. I was thinking of shortening the bolt. but how much thread but you have on the bolt for iva.cheers femi
