Spotted this on cover of Auto Express and had to buy the mag.

One of each when ready please.

Seven looks like it will come with doors :shok: and a foldaway roof?

Wow nice cars.

Took me 10 years to convince the wife to buy a reasonably price kit car - no chance on the new Lotus unless I win the lottery. Fat chance of that I haven't even won a tenner for ages.

well if donkervoort can manage to sell an exact 7 clone for £60,000+ then lotus should be able to do it. I have to laugh at the donkervoort though as they use the exact same mountney steering wheels as we have on our kits! http://www.donkervoort.nl/

I do remember seeing the original 'Aspid' i think in the Sunday times driving section a couple of years back, obviously didn't quite make it under their name.

Be interesting to see what Mr. Clarkson has to say when Top gear get their hands on it, and they probably will as it's from Lotus.

With a price tag of 60k (oh and aircon) in a 7, is it a wise move? Also, will it come with an optional noise suppression system to make it more environmentally friendly?

And big rubber bumpers for pedestrians to bounce off.....

Time will tell I guess......
