Another New Dash Thread

Made up my dash last night, very pleased with it!

I did trial it before making it and think it will be ok. Though I need to change the wheel for IVA.

Yes... eBay broken special... Resoldered a few joints and used the old sierra rear wiper switch to power it up if needed..

Russell555 - Have you tested the sat nav for signal in that position? I only ask as I remember reading that someone did the same thing with their satnav but it wouldn't get a signal so they had to remove it and fill the hole with something else. If it does work what make/model is it as I was thinking about doing that as well?

deancolin - it may have been me. When I first fitted the sat nav under the dash on my Zero, I couldn't get a signal. I did move it but then put it back again and added a re-radiating signal booster and it now works a treat.

It works with the car in the workshop.... So should get a signal outside too
