Well I have finished my dash refit. Replaced the sierra clocks, well almost, not totally redundant. Still a little tidying up here and there to do, so still have an excuse to go into the garage. Here's to a good summer..

Ive had the same problem with the redtop....admittedly only when I left the

plug cover off having changed the plugs the night before a Barkstone bash.

Left it outside at the B&B & wouldnt start when I tried to get to the track.

I have now fitted a deflector unde rthe bonnet to divert water to the side of the engine.

I also always fit the cam cover.

Nearly finished putting my new exhaust on. About time too, after three different plans I said to my wife thats it, there is no plan D it goes on even if it does look a bit agricultural. At least it will work and I do live in an agricultural area. Next plan is to blank off all the gaps in the front of the car so that all the air goes through the radiator ready for the warmer weather. Nice Stuka. For you ze winter project is over

I keep thinking I'm getting nearer, then somebody puts a link on to ginas tackle on eBay and next thing you know I've spent another couple of hundred quid and I'm likely going to be fitting a load of other gear on the car, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop.
