Currently in North Wales (Balenau Ffestiniog) on holiday, and have spent some of this week making the most of the wonderful courtesy car I have been given (Audi TTS) and while out driving some of the roads shown in the below video and had to watch it again. Inspiration to get my car finished!

You found the evo triangle?? Fab roads in north Wales.organised many a hoody weekend from llanberis .

Back in February 2009 in the 197

 

 

and at the campsite we stayed at last year in the 172 as I forgot to take a picture like the above.

good roads the evo triangle . plus the route to the groes inn is decent too.

Hi i was also in north wales last weekend in LLangollen some great driving roads.

Great driving also around lake Bala.

Roads here cannot be beaten! Route we did yesterday was:

 

B4391 out of Llan Ffestiniog

then left onto A4212 towards Bala

then left onto A494 towards A5

left onto A5 towards Betws-y-coed

then bear right onto B4501 (start of evo triangle)

Left onto A543

Right onto A5 again

Left onto A470 and you arrive back into Blaenau Ffestiniog

 

Good 70 mile route and great roads.

Too many "A" roads in that trip.

A roads around here are generally as quiet and small as the B roads in england! Especialliy the A4212, A543 and that particular stretch of A470. I've never had any traffic issues on that route and they are cracking roads.

B4391, the 2 sections Bala to Penybontfawr (15 miles) and the A4212 junction to Llan Ffestiniog (about 10 miles).
