Sitting here after my operation yesterday. Won't be able to work on the car for 2 weeks and can't drive for 4. At least I have no excuse not to finish my wiring diagrams ready for putting into practice when I can get back in to the car!

No idea what your op was -- but after my hernia op I was working 2 days later & broke the stitches -- nurse was less than pleased -- so take it easy.

The rest will be worth it, and when you do go back to working on the car take it easy!

Yes, it's my 2nd hernia op. I will be taking it easy, at least I don't have to think about going back to full time work only the more pleasurable work on the R Hood!

wiring not that bad just time and patience and mark everything and write down every wire colour lol i am in process of doing my dash with new shark gauges.

Now back home after going the second round with the surgeon! 1st op healing well but when nearly 2 weeks in I got an infection under the mesh reinforcement. Got to have daily dressing changes for about 2 weeks (could be 3!) while it heals then see how long before I can get back to the car. CAN'T WAIT!

Bad news --- should of used a new unissued credit card plastic mesh thing!!

At least you are much safer from infection at home! Too cold to be out under a car anyway. Think my winter mods are all going to be spring ones.

Never thought about the cold, at least the temperature may have warmed up by the time I'm ready to start again!
