Oil Pressure Sender

when I fitted the new sender it was a very tight fit up against the oil filter its that tight I aint happy with it anybody else had the problem if so wots your solution

I am not a zetec expert but iirc there are another couple of galleries in the block you can use for the oil sender?

If you get stuck, you can always run a short length of braided line (narrow gauge will be fine; PTFE brake line will do) with the appropriate fittings and remote-mount the sender.

What about using one of the brass t piece adaptors and fitting it to the side hole and blocking the end?

It has been pointed out by Nigel ( Longboarder ) that there is another tapping which can be used for sender -- to the left of the filter if memory serves.

 

Is there another similar tapping on a 1.8 CVH engine ?

Posted this a while back. 2.0L blacktop on the left. I had to slightly modify the engine mount to give easy clearance to the middle port on both engines. On the ST you're spoilt with three possible choices. I hope the little 1.6 has the middle one.
