Basic 2 ltr starts at 140. 1800 will be just under that.

Look at MTECH RACING. They will give you lots of different tuning stages.

With the Zetec you are looking at a lot more than just BHP.

Reliability is uppermost.

Weight is a lot less than pinto or Vauxhall.

Running cost are a lot less. Around 37 MPG at 70 MPH. Well that's what Tractor got over the steamy thingy weekend.

No oil leaks if assembled correctly.

Service intervals a lot greater.

Up to 300+ BHP without turbo, if you have a lot, a lot of pennies and pounds to spend.

You are starting out the right way J by study exactly what you want, then go for that without being tempted by cheaper deals.

A few months saving can save a lot of money being wasted by getting the first cheap deal that comes along.

Your gear box won't need changing from what you have so that means a lot less messing about.

If you go carbs that will save some management money, maybe.

I Would leave as standard to begin with then save up for Jenvey throttle bodies.

Cheapest way to up your BHP by around 15'/,

The Zetec 140 BHP above is at the flywheel.

Hi again J.

If you look in 2b bonnet bulge? Where can I get one?

It is still on the front page of new topics.

Steve in Stockport put a link in about this very subject and it is well worth reading.

Money money money.
