Superspec Washer Bottle

Hi all where does the super spec washer bottle get placed on these as we bought ours prebuilt and wondered if it was the bottle under the battery

Yes, should be a rubber hose coming out of a hole to fill it up.

 

Your passenger footwell may be quite short because of it!

Wondered why at 6'1 I can fit in and drive it easily but riding shotgun isn't as cosy

On my 2b I've put it in the boot. Nice big bottle, pleanty of liquid.

on my to do list:

 

replace fuel tank, create bigger boot.

move washer bottle to boot!

extend passsenger footwell

 

so far i have brought thw non return valve for washer bottle....

Mine is posiitoned high on the firewall next to the coil and the cooling expansion bottle. As such it has no effect on the passenger footwell. Looking underneath I think I could extend the footwell a couple of inches before it would interfere with the clutch arm.

i think there is a min size (although only for sva/iva as no-one is going to care afterwards). I use mine once a year when they test it at mot

I find it far more effective to lean over the top of the window with a bottle of water and pour water does tend to run up my arm though :S

Bin the monstrosity supplied and fit the smaller one as shown in Al Richey's picture.

(Available from CBS~£17)

Takes up less room & is a lot easier to fit.

I mounted mine on the offside chassis rail - you will have far more options to suit your preference.
