in the ring parade of vehicles when joey was asked about the car he was near

 

speechless. Now thats a first .Was this the second time ?

No he had his interview its just that I missed it.

Not such a great day for everyone........

I travelled up with Andy as far as the M11,

then turned back for London & the Blackwall tunnel so I could be back

in Welling for 12:00.

 

In best Phuckawi tribe tradition I got lost in the East end backstreets

& ended up in University Way, at the University of East London,

with the biggest B***DY speed humps Ive ever seen.

Couldnt turn round, went over them gently, bottomed out (on a shortened sump)

& started an almighty clattering sound.

 

I limped back home slowly in 5th to keep the revs down.

I reckon the front of the sump has buckled & is being hit by the conrod.

I kept an eye on the oil pressure (no change... )

& looked in the mirror for an oil stream (nothing )

so I hope its ok.

I'll find out in the next few weeks when I remove it & fit the XE engine.

I'll just be doing it a bit earlier than I planned

 

PS Drew, the engines fine, honest!!!!!

& I have a spare sump pan.
